It was a magical spring evening in Afula and from all over the and around the world hundreds of people gathered at the Emunah Children's Center to celebrate the Bar & Bat Mitzvah of 17 wonderful boys and girls with their excited families. Dressed in beautiful new outfits, the Bnai and Bnot Mitzvah were welcomed in a special ceremony accompanied by fireworks, Yeminite shofarot and enthusiastic dancing. Between courses of a scrumptious festive meal, catered by the dedicated staff of the
Emunah
Center , the audience was entertained by our own Emunotes Performing Choir, our talented musicians on the keyboard and a marvellous Capoeira display by our boys. The highlight of the evening was most certainly the humoristic and colourful Musical, "Waiting in Line" put on by the Emunotes to mark the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel.

The evening ended with a spectacular Yom Ha'azmaut style fireworks display and an emotional singing of Hatikva by the children, their families and our guests – Mazel Tov.
