The EMUNOTES ended 2008 in fine style by taking HERZLIA & in particular the Beth Protea Retirement Village by storm. By the end of the performance as generous applause and cheers reverberated off the walls off the home and faces filled with mirth filled the hall, the seeds to a lasting friendship were planted. GO GIRLS !!	<<

Not being able to keep dogs at our home is not always a negative. As the manager of the local dog-pound has learned from our children over the last month, who volunteer their services one afternoon a week in exchange for "playtime-with-the pooches" . Pictures to follow.	<<

The EMUNAH Children's Centre in Afula is proud to be the recipeint of the 2008 Korzcak Prize for education. The Centre is the first residential children's home in the history of the prize to receive it. BRAVO to our dedicated staff	<<

EMUNAH wins the distinguished ISRAEL PRIZE - EMUNAH,the International Women's Movement and the Emunah Sarah Herzog Children's Center, together with the additional women's movements Wizo & Na'amat, were recently awarded the prestigious Israel Prize (the Israeli "Nobel Prize"), in appreciation of decades of service to Israeli society. We are very proud of this recognition and achievement.	<<

A very big heartfelt welcome home, from Gaza to three of our sons Menachem, Gadi & Lior. In their third year of service these strapping young lads have done themselves and the entire Am Yisrael proud. May Hashem look after you guys, whilst you look after us !!!	<<

THE EMUNOTES - STARS OF THE SHOW - The Emunah Center's "EMUNOTES" performing choir, 23 girls aged 8-18, who recently returned from the second US tour, performed at the Tel Aviv Cultural Hall before a crowd of 2700 people at a celebration of Emunah's receiving the ISRAEL PRIZE. The audience applauded the Emunotes enthusiastically during and after their moving medley of Hora songs. The Emunotes are in great demand and in the past month have performed at a seniors home, at the Religious Zionism Awards Ceremony and the World Emunah reception in Jerusalem.	<<

WELCOME LAVI 11 !!! We are thrilled to welcome our latest infusion of Anglo-Saxon energy to our home... Lavi, a wonderful group of lads & lasses from both JFS School in London & King David School in Liverpool, will be with us every Monday for the next two and a half months, bonding with the kids in our day-care program.... YA'ALA OUR OWN PERSONAL "FIGHTER" IN NABLUS

Ya'ala always smiles. Even during hard times during her life Ya'ala remained optimistic about her future and may the most of everything. Ya'ala spent 8 years at the Emunah Center and in her final year of school, also worked as a junior counselor in a group of our younger boys and girls. Everybody loved her and in her quiet and responsible way she made a lasting impression on the lives of the children in her group and was an outstanding role model.

It was not always so clear that Ya'ala would complete high school but she did and only a few weeks ago pleasantly surprise staff and friends by visiting the Emunah Center army uniform and all. Ya'ala is currently serving at an army base in Nablus and awaits the start of officers training.

And……you guessed….Ya'ala, as always, is smiling.
