For over a decade the Emunah Children’s Home has run a Music Center on the very highest level. In this fashion basic music education is stressed, with appreciation for the supremacy and value of music education and its influence on developing children and teenage youth.

The Emunotes

The Emunotes under the direction and musical leadership of Shiko Hajaj appears in different ensembles in Israel and abroad and has produced a number of albums.

Eternal Song

A yearly group project, which is all experience, practice and diligence. Each group makes song and dance appearances in a prestigious song fest.  The event is held in the Municipal Culture Center in front of an audience of hundreds of family members and friends and is attended by the Director of Emunah, community leaders and Welfare and Education staffs.

Personal Project

The Personal Project gives students a chance to produce a professional personal song or an album.

Some of the songs are written, composed and completed by the students. The entire production process up to the recording, printing and packaging of the album is handled by Musical Director, Shiko Hajaj.

Learning How to Play the Organ and Sing

Basic music education, organ playing and singing is directed by Ms. Lilia Shetkin.

Every year Lilia supports dozens of students starting from the elementary levels up to instruction and guidance for gifted music students. In the framework of the program the students appear at the Children Center for assemblies and events.
